There were 46 contracts closed last week at $1 million and above. 38 were single-family homes not located on lakefront property, were lakefront property, and there were 2 condos in this week’s total. Total sales volume was $80,489,950 with an average closing price of $1.75 million.

Notable Closing:

11505 Firethorn Ct, in Steiner Ranch closing at $1,125,000, a 0% change from its original listings price of $1,125,000. While it is not at the top of the market with regards to pricing, nor is it architecturally significant it does represent how incredibly solid the market is in Austin. It’s a 4,500 square foot home that was on the market for only 1 day, and sold at the full asking price. The home is located in Steiner Ranch, has a pool, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and is on a .6 acre lot and listed by Kacy Dolce of Kuper Sotheby’s.

Top closing:

3711 Westlake Drive was this week’s top closings. Closing at $5,495,000 -3.61% from it’s original listing price of $5,700,000 when it was originally listed in March this year. The home is located on a .6 acre lot on Lake Austin. Built in 1980, it was the first time the home was on the market in 32 years. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and has 3900 square feet of living space. The home was listed by Catherine Romano of Compass Real Estate and the buyer was represented by Matt Holm, also from Compass Real Estate.
